Accompanying Agreement
1. Disclaimer of Liability
I acknowledge that participation in the meditation is voluntary and, to the extent permitted by law, the association, the meditation instructors, and other volunteers are not liable for personal or material damages.
2. Personal Medical Responsibility
I am aware that meditation is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. The staff of the association are not medically licensed; they do not diagnose illnesses, provide treatment, or make healing promises or medication recommendations. For certain medical conditions (e.g., within the schizophrenic spectrum or bipolar disorders), prior consultation with a medical specialist is required.
3. Confidentiality and Sharing of the Method
I agree not to make any video, audio, image, or other recordings of meditations or events held by the association.
The transmission of the meditation method to third parties is only permitted to individuals with certified training from Wien Meditation. Teaching the method is only allowed with the appropriate training and approval from the association.
4. Copyright Provisions
The meditation method and associated materials (texts, videos, presentations) are protected by copyright. Use, reproduction, modification, sale, or any other form of exploitation – regardless of profit intention – is prohibited without written permission from the copyright holder or the association board and may be subject to legal action.
5. Data Protection and Communication
I consent to the storage of my personal data and – restricted to password-protected areas – the digital documentation of my meditation process, to be used exclusively for association purposes. I may revoke this consent at any time.
I agree that the association may contact me via digital media (e.g., email, WhatsApp, newsletter), while adhering to legal data protection standards (GDPR, DSG). This consent can be revoked at any time.
6. Membership and Termination
Membership can be terminated at any time without notice. A refund of already paid membership fees is excluded.
In the event that an annual membership is terminated, the difference will be calculated based on the chosen membership.
